Space and aerial intelligence for real-world decisions
Terrionyx transforms satellite & drone imagery, GIS layers, geospatial, and environmental data into monitoring products, analytics workflows, and decision dashboards for governments, infrastructure operators and environmental programmes.
Terrionyx is an Athens-based Earth Observation and geospatial intelligence company. We acquire, access, process, analyze, and operationalize satellite and drone (UAV) data from open and commercial sources, and we collect much of this data ourselves through our own UAV surveys and field campaigns. We combine Earth Observation, GIS engineering, and spatial AI into products that are ready for real-world decisions.
What we do
Our Expertise
From geolocated data sourcing to operational dashboards, Terrionyx covers the full geospatial workflow needed to turn imagery into trusted, operational intelligence.
Earth Observation (Satellite & Drone)
Multispectral, thermal, and SAR imagery, sourced from satellite providers or collected ourselves, transformed into land-cover maps, vegetation indicators, land surface products (including land surface temperature), and change-detection layers.
UAV/Drone Data Collection
Our own UAV fleet and field survey teams capture drone imagery, LiDAR, and thermal scans over large areas, complemented by terrestrial laser scanning and handheld remote-sensing devices for site-level detail where satellite revisit or resolution falls short.
Digital Twins and Geospatial Software
Digital twin environments and custom geospatial software tools engineered to handle, process, and operationalize satellite and drone data at scale.
GIS & Spatial Data Engineering
Spatial databases, cloud-native raster pipelines, metadata standards, APIs, and automated geoprocessing designed for reliable reuse across teams.
Environmental Monitoring & Climate Risk
Wildfire exposure, flood extent, drought stress, coastal change, land degradation, and biodiversity pressure monitored through repeatable indicators.
Disaster Resilience & Rapid Mapping
Near-real-time damage assessment for floods, wildfires, and other emergencies, interoperable with national emergency response systems.
Data Access and Tasking
Area-of-interest planning, archive search, commercial tasking coordination, and data selection across optical, radar, elevation, and derived products.
Web GIS and Decision Dashboards
Interactive map portals, field-ready web apps, indicators, alerts, and reporting views for teams that need to move from evidence to action.
Spatial AI and Predictive Analytics
Machine-learning workflows for feature extraction, anomaly detection, risk scoring, forecasting, and human-in-the-loop validation.
Sectors
Built for the people who make the call
From a municipal planning office to a reinsurance desk, the question is the same: what is actually happening on the ground, and what should we do about it.

Why Terrionyx
An applied layer on top of a national build-out
01
Positioned at the source
Athens headquarters, close to the Hellenic Space Center, national ministries, and the wider research ecosystem generating the geospatial data we work with.
02
Environment and human systems, together
We don't stop at observing Earth's physical processes and the changes in land-surface dynamics caused by climate change or human activity. We connect them to the cities, farms, and infrastructure they affect.
03
Built on existing infrastructure
An asset-light model on Copernicus and Greece's national satellite constellation. No proprietary hardware is required to start delivering value.
04
EU project fluency
Technical partnership capability for Horizon Europe, ESA InCubed, and Digital Europe Programme consortia. We speak both satellite and grant agreement.
From satellite/drone pass to decision, in four steps
The same pipeline that gets a satellite's signal to the ground gets a decision-maker to a better answer.
Pass 01 · Acquire
Task and source
Optical, thermal, and SAR imagery from Copernicus, Greece's national constellation, and commercial partners.
Pass 02 · Process
Calibrate and fuse
Correction and fusion of multi-sensor data into analysis-ready spatial layers.
Pass 03 · Analyse
Model the question
Domain-specific modelling: hazard, land-use, exposure, change over time.
Pass 04 · Deliver
Hand it over
Decision-ready maps, dashboards, and briefings, delivered to the people who act on them.
What we build
Products and Assets
Reusable geospatial assets help teams avoid one-off analysis and build continuous monitoring capacity.
Operational monitoring dashboards
Live map interfaces for hazards, land-use change, vegetation condition, exposed assets, and programme indicators.
Analysis-ready EO datasets
Clean raster and vector layers with harmonized metadata, cloud masking, indices, tiling, and delivery formats for GIS and analytics teams.
Urban and infrastructure intelligence
Spatial insight for expansion, heat exposure, impervious surfaces, critical infrastructure, accessibility, and service-area planning.
Programme and policy intelligence
Indicators, maps, and evidence packages for EU projects, public reporting, climate adaptation plans, and grant-funded pilot deployments.
Digital twins and web applications
Interactive WebGIS portals, front-end applications, and 3D digital twins that make multi-source geospatial data explorable for operations teams and decision makers.
